Visiting the School

Students are permitted to go to the classrooms at 7:55 A.M. We request that students not arrive at school before 7:50 A.M. Pupils arriving between 7:50 A.M. and 7:55 A.M. are to enter through the front door.

Before school care is available beginning at 7:00 A.M. each day in the St. Angela Room. There is a $3.00 charge for the first student from a family and $1.00 for each additional student. Families are billed for this service.

After school care is available from dismissal time to 5:00 P.M. The charge will be $5.00 for the first child in the family, and $2.00 fo reach additional child. Families may use these services every day or on a as-needed basis.

Those serving 7:00 A.M. mass will be allowed to enter the building by the office (if it is open). They may remain there until school begins. They may also leave with their parents. Provisions for servers following the 7:00 A.M. mass are the responsibilty of the parents.

The morning classes begin at 8:05 A.M. There is a short break in the morning at which time pupils in grades 1-3 may receive milk. Children in preschool and kindergarten receive milk or juice daily. School dismisses for the day at 2:45 P.M. Pupils should be out of the building at 2:50 P.M. unless they have the permission of a teacher or the principal and their parents. Morning kindergarten begins at 8:05 A.M. and concludes at 11:30 A.M. Afternoon kindergarten dismisses at 2:40 P.M. Four year old preschool begins at 8:05 A.M. and dismisses at 11:00 A.M. Three year old preschool begins at 8:05 A.M. and dismisses at 10:30 A.M.

Parents are always welcome in the school. If you wish to wait by the office at dismissal time, please talk quietly and stand out of the way of the classes that are leaving the building. When you take your child, please do so quietly. We are striving for an orderly flow of lines at dismissal time.
